On Test: MRP, Endura, and Epic Bleed Solutions

With winter coming to an end have some new stuff in my hands to try out now that the snow is melting away.

MRP makes a multitude of chain guides and also offers a more XC option. The XCG or as some I know call a Taco just arrived this week in the mail. This will be something a little different as I’m a bashguard guy.

This only came about as accidentally picked up the wrong crank spider that won’t take a bashguard. So this will be an experiment.

After Christmas I picked up a pair of Endura MT500 Spray Baggy 3/4’s. But being a more normal Ontario winter didn’t get to try them yet as it’s been cold weather gear for the year. So now That the weather is less of the winter gear requirement. These should be seeing more use now.

Endura is not as well known over here as they are based in Scotland which is the land of grim riding. Grim being the weather is foul as some say 10 months of the year.

Another new item for the workshop is this bleed kit from Epic bleed Solutions for my Hope Mini brakes I’m rebuilding.

While it seems unexciting I am interested to see if this will do a better job of clearing air out of the brake system. Now just need to wait for the new seals to arrive to see how well it works.

I’m not sponsored nor have received any gear of the gear for free.
